Chamber Takes Position on Potential Increase of Linkage Fees
SDNCC has taken a position on potential legislation that would negatively
impact businesses. The San Diego North Chamber of Commerce opposes any
increases in business linkage fees, stating that increased fees would
negatively impact the San Diego economy, businesses and the regional
community. The Chamber understands and is sympathetic to the need for affordable
housing in the city and is a proponent of researching a more comprehensive
strategy that would not greatly affect businesses already struggling in this
down economy.
